AJW's parent company, Fifty Door Partners, LLC, has named Gary Rosenberg as Chairman of The Board.
Rosenberg is the founding member and former managing partner of New York City's top rated commercial real estate law firm, Rosenberg & Estis, P.C.
'With Gary's incredible depth of knowledge and keen legal mind, he provides invaluable strategic oversight to the board and our leadership team,' said Christopher J. Hansen, founder and CEO of Fifty Door Partners, LLC.
Hansen said he feels fortunate to have Rosenberg on board.
'Gary has built the number one rated commercial real estate law firm in one of the world's most complicated business environments through focused design, impeccable orchestration and by surrounding himself with great people,' Hansen said. 'I consider myself fortunate to have him as a partner and a mentor.'
Rosenberg made a name for himself on the New York legal scene as an active litigator and appellate attorney, arguing several precedent-setting real estate cases in the NYS Court of Appeals. Today, as chairman of the firm that bears his name, Rosenberg devotes the majority of his time to the firm's largest client, The Durst Organization. He has played a crucial role in the development of some of the Durst's highest profile and most complex real estate projects, including the Conde Nast Building at 4 Times Square, the Bank of America Building at One Bryant Park and, most recently, One World Trade Center.
Rosenberg became a partner in Fifty Door Partners, LLC in early 2016. His interest, he said, was sparked by Hansen's vision for the AJW brand.
'AJW has the potential to bring a culture of a client-centric firm to a commodity environment,' he explained.
Rosenberg said he is impressed with Hansen and the rest of his team.
'The leadership team is of a caliber which I've rarely experienced on a consistent basis across a company,' he said. 'The top leaders are very bright, very energetic, very caring about what they do, how they do it and who they do it with. That integrity comes across at all points, and it's clear it permeates the entire company.'
In addition to AJW, Fifty Door Partners' portfolio includes manufacturing, logistics, real estate development, commercial construction and a financial holding company.
'Our vision is to create a portfolio of healthy companies with a lasting and life-changing impact for our people, our communities and the planet, for generations to come,' said Hansen.
